Lily Sanderson doesn't have time to slowly wade into her role as the newly crowned ruler of Thalassinia. When she is faced with the problem of near-by  mermaid kingdoms dying as a result of oil spills and changing ocean climates, she finds herself in uncharted waters. Lily enlists the help of her cousin,Dosinia, her boyfriend Quince, and her friend, Tellin to persuade the surrounding mermaid communities that all human's aren't bad despite the choices of a few and their regards toward the ocean's habitat. The princess must find a solution which solves her problems and keeps both the mermaid kingdoms and humans she loves safe.

I really loved the third and last installment of this novel. I grew with the characters in each book and thought the author did a lovely job of creating a happy ending for every character. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for more from the author!

I hear there is an e-novella coming soon!

Eighteen is a very important year in Lily Sanderson's life as a Thalassinian mermaid princess. The world is supposed to be her oyster. Her life is sent into a tailspin, or so she feels, when she is charged with the care of her human-hating cousin who is determined to create waves in Lily's relationships. The return of a childhood friend further ensnares Lily into a net of unforseen problems forcing her to choose between her duty and her dreams.

I dived into this novel headfirst as I loved the first so much! The writing is hilarious the plot is believable and the characters grow with the story. My favorite character in this book is her cousin due to her jaw-dropping, spunky style. It's a perfect, light beach-ready book!

MSLRCW3: Forgive My Fins

Forgive My Fins

Falling in love as a teenager is hard enough but add fins and a tail and it becomes quite impossible or so she thinks. Meet Lily, an ordinary teenager whose dilemmas are not so average. She's a land loving Thalassinian mermaid princess; however, that's not her biggest secret yet. Just when she thinks she has it all figured out, fate steps in and changes everything.

I absolutely loved this book and the storyline was so plausible. I really rooted for Lily's friends as they were very loving and truly cared about Lily's spirit as a person. Her dad has her best interest at heart and I found myself often agreeing with his rules though I could see where a typical teenager would think of them as "life-ruining". Overall this was a great choice and I am definitely reading the second one for next week's read! I highly recommend this book for people, such as myself ,who are new to mermaid  literature.

P.S. Look out for the "aquatic references" sprinkled throughout the book.
Too cute!!
