Literary Love: Thornfield Hall Designs

A fine old hall. A respectable place. A safe haven. A backdrop for grandeur. Katie Pritchard, owner of the Etsy shop, Thornfield Hall Designs creates literary apparel befitting of Jane Austen's approval. Opened May 9, 2013, her shop enables people to take their favorite quotes with them everywhere.

Without further ado, I give you, Katie Pritchard's of Thornfield Designs.
This month's Literary Love, who has graciously allowed me to review the following item:

The shirt arrived in a very simplistic package:

An elegant touch:

True care and devotion for what she sells:

The shirt is comprised of 55% cotton and 45% polyester. It is a very small shirt so she recommends ordering a size larger than you would normally wear. In conversation, she stated, "I have two sizing pictures that include size information for the shirt- one that has measurement information and one that lets you take a t-shirt you already own and you know fits and measure it (flat, only on one side) and pick the closest size shirt of mine."

The scoop neck, cap sleeves, and scrolling letters create an alluring look reminiscent of those found during Jane Austen's era.

Every quote is designed and hand-pressed by Katie using eco-friendly ink which is heat-sealed for lasting wearability.

I absolutely love the shirt! I chose the quote,
"For pity’s sake, Anne, hold your tongue. You talk entirely too much for a little girl. -Marilla".

I have gotten compliments and chuckles whenever I have worn it.
A great shirt just in time for summer!

Check out the button on the side which is a direct link to her Etsy shop!

Look for her "Soul Craft" next week!
