Amazed and Confused by Heather Zempel

We ask, “Why would a good God allow bad things to happen to good people?” In Amazed and Confused, Heather Zempel tackles this question head-on by exploring the book of Habakkuk. Amazed and Confused proceeds systematically through the book of Habakkuk, exploring the prophet’s prayer, God’s response, and the prophet’s journey from confusion to worship. It's an interactive Bible study for those who are hurting and confused about God’s responses to their prayers.

Dive Deeper by Jenifer Jernigan

Delving into the book of Ephesians,Dive Deeper is a tool for women who find themselves unsatisfied with their typical Bible study & those who find themselves numb in their daily walk. As a preacher’s kid, Jenifer found herself in that same place, becoming numb to the things of God. She longed to dive deeper,to fall in love with God. Dive Deeper takes readers by the hand & jumps with them into the exhilarating waters of Bible study. Equipping you to find deep faith beyond shallow religion.

Leaving Ordinary by Donna Gaines

God desires an intimate relationship with each of us, but we wonder, how can a person have such a relationship with a holy God? In Leaving Ordinary, Donna Gaines delves into this issue by exploring the notion of extraordinary prayer; teaching readers how to interact with God in that secret place of true intimacy that leads to worship. Your ordinary daily practice of prayer can become an extraordinary encounter with the living God.

Living So That by Wendy Blight

In today’s world, it’s tough to make everyday decisions, let alone decisions that honor God. Our culture is increasingly driven by selfish desires. However, as Christians, our lives should not be self-centered; they should be others-centered, making a difference for the Kingdom of God.Through her approachable style, personal examples & biblical teaching, Wendy equips readers to take what they study in the Word of God and practically live it out in order to impact the world around them.

Thoughts:

Hey, Friend!  Grab a cup of coffee and get comfortable. Let your hair down. Heather, Jenifer, Donna and Wendy have made place especially for you. As women, we often succumb to pressure of daily living. The "to-do" list becomes longer than the accomplished list. Everyone seems to be getting ahead. The authors understand and they have come together to create a collection of books specifically designed to leave words which speak to you and inscribe themselves on your heart.

It was an honor to be chosen to read this collection of books and I hope you will find their words speak to your soul.
