Side Notes // A Spot of Tea

Whenever I'm reading, I write notes in the margins and underline or highlight anything that really stands out. Side notes are my life line- a direct connection to what I'm seeing.

Websites are filled with amazing literary finds and I've been
keeping a pocket-sized notebook for things that catch my eye...

A conversation between my co-worker and I last week:

Co-Worker: "What is the temperature outside?"

Me: (After looking it up) "Nothing."

Co-Worker: "What do you mean?"

Me: "It's so cold outside the temperature is zero. Nothing."

To say we have had cold weather in Chicago this year is a bit of an understatement, I think :)

The remedy to fend off old-man winter exists in a cup of tea.

I found this quaint little tea shop which features literary teas!

I absolutely fell in love with their mantra:

Literary Tea Co. explores the beautiful connection between tea and books, by creating delicious tea blends inspired by the world’s most loved literary geniuses.

This is my favorite:
Emily Bronte Tea

Mr.TeaCup carries all of your tea findings including this cute pot:

Literary tea pot - quote of your choice

Hanna uses her artistic talent to illustrate the perfect background to highlight each literary quote:

I can't wait to hear some of your favorite tea combinations

  2. This definitely made me wish I drank tea! I'm a coffee person though. That teapot is super cute too :)
