This past Saturday, a few bloggers and I got to meet her though a video chat I organized. She provided in-depth answers to our questions regarding her books, future installments of the series, and her life as a writer. Her thoughts are truly unique and I was very excited to pick her brain for a bit.
We discussed her book:
As a librarian, I gravitated toward the concept that the "dead rest on shelves like books. Each body has a story to tell, a life seen in pictures that only Librarians can read." This book really proved to be an interesting story. The first fourth of the story confused me. I often had to go back and re-read in order to figure out certain characters. I enjoyed the character of Wesley and felt as though he was had a strong heart and someone I would enjoy getting to know if he were alive. I also enjoyed the main heroine, Mackenzie because she seemed true to herself not a typical "damsel in distress." The story really picked up at the end and nicely tied things together. I am anxiously awaiting the sequel.
I've been anxious to read this one! Hope to get my hands on it soon..
